No room in that place. I was packed in, like in a can of sardines. The Show was worth the money. If you get a chance to see the show, go see it!

I really enjoyed this play. As a fan of the movie, I wasn’t sure if they would be able to pull it off, but they surely did. The set was great and the cast was amazing. I was thoroughly impressed by Treach as Nino Brown, Allen Payne is still fine, Gary Dourdan was fantastic and Flex as Pookie was phenomenal. I didn’t get why the audience was laughing during a drama, but that’s not the cast’s fault at all, they nailed it and I’d see it again for sure!
New Jack City on stage is a MUST SEE for anyone who came up in the 80’s and 90’s. The music, the set and the actors were all amazing and as an artist myself, it was great to see PHILLY represented in the cast.
