Once again Mr. Johnson has outdid his self. Awesome casting for “New Jack City” great from beginning to end. Watching the screen play bought by great memories. Just as he did in “Set It Off” ( which I also went to). Los Angeles love Je’Caryous Johnson

A wonderful play, every actor was fabulous, they all gave a FANTASTIC performance. It was a nice treat to have Allen Payne reprise his role …..woo hoo!!

The Play was Awesome and very Interesting, love the church Choir and how they actually had the jeep on stage .. overall i Give it a 10

As an African American, I’m very proud of how this play was displayed. Good props and visuals, it felt believable, it wasn’t overshadowed with musicals and the actors did a great job of making you feel their character.

My friends & I attended the New Jack City show in LA over the weekend. The actors did a great job of bringing the movie back to life. Loved every minute of it. Would definitely see it again. Je’Caryus Johnson is a genius!

Every aspect of the play was amazing! From the main characters to the singers and dancers. Flex was HILARIOUS! Treach was a really good Nino Brown and was funny too, Allen Payne “The OG” was perfect…Big Daddy Kane and the 2 coos kilt it! Keisha a d the funny ahhh stuttering man were amazing! I like how after each one died he had a lil story about em. It was just a wonderful production!

Flex as Pookie was everything. And Treach as Nino Brown was so natural. And the comparable Allen Payne, kudos to you. The entire cast was excellent. Two thumbs all the way. Thank you JeCaryous for bringing this classic to the stage

Great show! I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the actors. Also, amazing casting – it’s so good to see all shades of Black in black productions. Thank you!

It was a great performance! My parking and seats was also great. Thank you for coming to Houston.

This show was off the chain! It was New Jack Style. At first I was hesitant because I couldn’t imagine New Jack City as a play, especially with out Wesley Snipes. But my dude Trech did a great job and so did Pookie.
