The place was great!! The character’s knew their lines and stayed in character the entire time!! I’m not a fan of “singing” plays but this one was different… even the singing was great as well as catchy. It’s a must see… looking forward to attending more plays be Mr. Johnson!!

I had to purchase additional tickets because my original tickets were wrong. I brought 8pm tickets because of traveling to Raleigh from Virginia and arriving by 3 to check into a hotel My tickets listrd were for 3. I reviewed my email saw the wrong tickets then paid for the 8pm tickets ensuring we saw the play.
New Jack City Live was an awesome show. If this show comes to your town you don’t want to miss it! My sweetheart and I enjoyed it!

Play was dope! I was excited to see how this would go live and was not disappointed!! Great cast and it was amazing.
Although it did not request audience participation, we could not help but cry out in intervals with joy and sorrow and excitement. The story line was pretty much in line with the movie and prompted many to revisit the original. The actors and scenery were professionally done.
All facets of the movie were brought to life right in front of us. It was so real that I knew most of the lines! And when Big Daddy Cane did his thang, oh my…they dropped the mic! That show was awesome and the humorous twist made it a bit more interesting. I loved it!
Loved the timing and how fluid the scenes were. The acting funny. The sing my God. Amazing. The cast 👍🏿❤️
This play was AMAZING!! It started on time and kept my attention the entire time. I didn’t want it to end. The actors and acting was outstanding. The mini concert was an added bonus. The cast was out of this world. It was so exciting to see so many familiar actors in person. Thank you Je’Caryous Johnson for bringing us something so enjoyable. Keep them coming!
I was very very pleased with the show. I even loved the little extras they threw in that weren’t part of the movie. So glad it started on time and it didn’t take us long to get in and get seated.
